By the end I was reading the dialogue-heavy beginning and end of each story with enthusiasm but trudging through the middle when the dimwitted and pompous storyteller and his 2cm tall demon would inevitably ruin someone’s life trying to ‘fix’ it.

Most of Asimov’s isaac science books explain scientific concepts in a historical way, going as far back as possible to a time when the science in question was at its simplest stage. azazek Thanks for telling us about the aasimov. Somehow, most of these efforts go awry. As some people already commented it was a tedious compilation of “be careful of what you wish for? It appeared in a story also called ” Cal ” about a robot who learns to write stories.

Asimov was not only a writer; he also was a biochemist and an educator. If you’ve read other works by Asimov, then you’ll notice that the style of this short story collection is quite a bit different from what you may remember from, for instance, his “Foundation”-series.
