I’ve also heard that Lincoln didn’t care about slavery, well, he was talking about it and opposed to it way before his presidency and it’s all clearly documented. This book was very informative a great for young children learning about history. My hope is that – any child who gives this book a chance will be rewarded with a sense of pride and gratitude that such an intelligent and empathetic man was willing to give himself to our country.
