We will not “follow” any particular textbook, but a good reference is: Ronald de Haan Teaching assistant: Computationzl beginning graduate textbook describes both recent achievements and classical results of computational complexity theory.

However, the notation may not be too familiar to those who have not had any prior exposure to the topics in computational complexity. Besides the exercises there will be a final exam. The exam will be open bookwhich means you are allowed to bring the book computationaal any notes you made — digital equipment is not allowed.
